By using SnapHuntAI ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

SnapHuntAI is a photo scavenger hunt game that uses artificial intelligence to verify whether photos match items on a list. The app offers solo and multiplayer game modes.

3. User Conduct

You agree to:

Use the app only for its intended purpose as a game.
Not submit photos containing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content.
Not attempt to abuse, hack, or disrupt the service.
Not use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4. Photo Submissions

Photos you take during gameplay are sent to our servers and processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI) for item verification. By using the app, you consent to this processing. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently.

5. AI Accuracy

The AI-powered item verification is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally produce incorrect results (false positives or false negatives). Game results are for entertainment purposes only.

6. Intellectual Property

The SnapHuntAI name, logo, design, and code are the property of the app creators. You retain ownership of any photos you take while using the app.

7. Multiplayer

When using multiplayer features, room codes are generated randomly. We are not responsible for the conduct of other players in shared game rooms. Display names are temporary and visible to other players in the same room.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the app. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or server issues. Since game state is held in temporary memory, active games may be lost during service restarts.

9. Limitation of Liability

SnapHuntAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate AI results, or service interruptions.

10. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services including OpenAI and Google Fonts. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

11. Age Requirements

The app is suitable for users of all ages. Users under 13 should have parental consent before using camera or location features.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
